This, I think, is how Buddhic cosmology interacts with the panpsychism (hi im a panpsychist): hell, the "nether" world is the world of microbiota, cells, single-celled creatures, viruses, and amoebæ. Being them must be like living in hell — dark, uncomfortable, almost nothing but pain, and whatever brings "joy" may be taken away very swiftly by "upper" macro creatures, by their inscrutable movements.

 

"Upper" world, heaven — these are the worlds of planets, systems, galaxies. Their existence is calm harmonic rotation, observation of processes too simple for them to comprehend, with no involvement.

But even they are born, they get old, they get to die.
